so i'm gonna try something a little different with this post. And all credit goes to my friend Adeeb, from whom i completely stole this idea. He had a pretty good response on his site so i thought i'd give it a try here, verbatim:
If you read this, even if i don't speak to you often, you must post a memory of me. It can be anything you want, it can be good or bad, just so long as it happened.
Go wild.
...lieutenant dan got me invested in some kind of fruit company

Okay, my memory of you is from just a few years ago at the Milwaukee conference. I knew it would be the first time that Jeff would get to meet you, and i was really excited for you guys to meet each other. We searched and searched for you in that enormous crowd, and then one day, I think we saw you in between break-out sessions on the 2nd floor of the conference center (not the auditorium). You had this very serene look on your face, and you were just sort of floating around the 2nd floor all by yourself. I kept seeing you between sessions, serene and floating. I know, weird memory.

haha oh man i remember that. i will never forget that cause i remember seeing this really tall guy and thinking "wow, he's pretty tall" and i kept floating around. then i hear "munib? munib?" and i looked around and there was nobody i knew so i just kept floating until i ran into you. and then the really tall guy turned out to be jeff who said he was calling me cause he recognized me from the way you described me to him. and from that moment on, i have looked to jeff as a genius.
three years ago in march? "you are doing 'sas' too?" ur response.. "yeah"... my response; ok? cool? good luck?... sit back down..
five months later.. a text message.. "should we do something"...
hey.. its how it started.. i might as well..
haha i like this...ok let me think...ok got one: We have just finished our morning reading circle, our last one, and Munib decides to do a little tree climbing...he climbs to the top of the tree....and then suddenly all the little kids look up and yell SPIDERMAN! lol. then hes covered in dirt so he has to walk to the 99 cent store to clean off. ah, so many memories...good times
i remember when u pushed me on the tire swing at mcbi because nobody else would. thanks!
sooo many...when i first met u , throwing pine cones at u, oh at the institute when u kept spilling cups, oye, or our epic fight in the well back then the youth room, now office number 2 with u vahid andy chris and i, and u like chuck me, or at daredevil and u were up the stairs and iwas trying to catch up, finger breaking....becoming pro football player, at summer school when u ate all those hamburgers, when i beat u at battle for middle earth, ok the last one hasnt happened yet..but soon
hmmm..this does sound fun...but would you REALLY want to hear what your older sister has to say?!?!?! heehee..this can be dangerous!! Cause the one memory I have is of a 4 year old Munib chasing his older gorgeous sister (aka me) with a yellow He-man plastic sword around the house. WINK All i can say is that the chase ended with a broken sword and a crying Niblet. Heehee...good times. WINK

Ok..I remember your sad little egyptian army stranded on two tiny islands... Where was my army? or should I say...my EMPIRE?? On the mega-mother-island!! Ha-ha-haaah!! Your wall eating scarabs are pathetic! And I laugh at your loss... haha!! I'mmmm the best! IMA GONNA [always] WIN! =P
My favorite memory of u would be the time that we got to become really close. That would be spring of senior year where we took that 7am computer class. We talked about EVERYTHING and then managed to find more to talk about. The following that class we would have our bagel dates (nuttin like a microwaved bagel) and just continue talking! We never ran out of things to say and u so quickly became one of my favorite ppl!
Mine is similar to maryams, I remember that time you had your pitiful forces all bottled up in your super upgraded castle and i just marched my guys up and over the wall with a single ladder, muahahahahahahaha
moonib- one memory i have of you that i'll never forget is when you and your family came to MN and james and i took all of you to the grocery store. without thinking- we showed you the lovely effect that melting snow has on sneakers when combined with tile flooring. i'll never forget how the entire time we were in there you and your sisters made your shoes go SQUEAAAKKK! SQUEEEEAAAK! on the floor with every step- much to the consternation of all the other shoppers and to the amusement of james and myself.
